Léa Fontaine makes originals for rooms that are lived in: acrylic and oil on canvas and fabric, etching and linocut, often with textured surfaces and gold leaf. Every painting is a signed one-off; commissions on request. Painted in Munich.

CHAPTER VI · QUESTIONS

Yes. Each work is one of one, painted by hand and signed on the canvas. It ships with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Yes — within 14 days of delivery, no reason needed. Send it back in its original packaging as an insured parcel. Return shipping is paid by you; on request we send an insured DHL label and deduct its cost from the refund. The money comes back as soon as the painting has arrived and been checked.
No. A commission is painted to your own brief, so the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply. That is why size, motif, timing and price are agreed with you in writing before the first brushstroke.
By hand, in the studio: corners protected, the surface wrapped, the canvas boxed rigid. Every painting and its packing are photographed before the parcel leaves Munich.
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay via Stripe — or a bank transfer. With a bank transfer the painting is held for you for 3 working days; if no payment arrives, the order is cancelled and the painting goes back on display.
